The Truth About Susan Rosenberg

Susan Rosenberg is a political activist and former member of the Weather Underground, a radical left-wing group active in the 1970s. She was arrested in 1984 for possession of explosives and served 16 years in prison before being released in 2001.

Rosenberg’s involvement with the Weather Underground began in the 1970s, when she became involved in various social justice movements, including the anti-war movement and the movement for civil rights. She was a vocal critic of the government’s actions in Vietnam and its treatment of racial minorities at home.

Rosenberg’s case has been the subject of much controversy, with some arguing that her punishment was too severe and that she should have been released much earlier. Others argue that her involvement in the Weather Underground and the possession of explosives justify her lengthy prison sentence.
