How to deploy Jenkins in Ubuntu server with GitHub

Open Terminal (Ctrl+ Alt + T) run below command.

Jenkins already available!!

Open Terminal (Ctrl+ Alt + T) run below command. System will return secrets key for unlocking.

Fill out secrets key in Administrator password

Setup configuration

We got Jenkins instance!!!

Add Jenkinsfile in Repository

stages are stages in pipeline.

triggers are triggered to execute in pipeline. for instance, I use pollSCM(‘* * * * *’)

For this demonstrate, I select Multibranch Pipeline. You can select other type that you want.

Then setup configuration

Select Source (I use GitHub Source)

Password = token from github

Get token from GitHub

Our Jenkins Pipeline done!!
