The Fight

..the beauty of War is the hope of Victory- LoneChoo

Photo by Alexander Krivitskiy on Unsplash

My heart is broken, my soul is tired
My hands are shaking, my soul is rewired

The pain is great, the hurt is real
Where is the joy I used to feel?

The world has seen a mirage of me
A bubbly girl they have concluded me to be

No one knows about my hidden scars and tears
No one knows about my multiple wound and fears

The battle between to live and to die
A resolve to fight but to win is a lie

My strength has failed, I cannot go on
My life is over, I am officially done

But then I remember I’m not alone
It’s not just about my flesh and my bone

I may have lost a battle but not the war
The windows may have been short but not the door

The coward’s way out is easy for me
But if I conquer this step, the stronger I’d be

As dark as this tunnel might seem
The Raynor light will come as a beam

I may not understand the pain now
It may feel easier to just take a bow

But I will fight in the desert and I’d fight in the sea
Because the beauty of War is the hope of Victory

Thanks for reading this spoken word!
