How Dancing and Cultures Will Shape New Patterns in a Happy World

Dance, dance, dance

Travel is so mesmerizing and view-broadening. The pictures are nice. But the feelings! The smells! The movements I make in the many different oceans and seas on our planet.

I really cannot do without.

Earlier, I wrote how we can dance concrete softer. And we can.

And this time, I’ll give you a poem about my own unique, indigenous dance on this planet. My voice. My words. My concepts.

See if you like them. And if you don’t? No sweat. There are other people and other species who do. I dance with trees and sea turtles. I dance with my neighbors and friends. And I bathe myself in the conversations I have with them. And you. Or you. And whoever.

Your choice. My choice.

Our freedom.

We live in a world of AND-AND-AND
A full spectrum world
of bright colors

Reflecting the light
Absorbing the dark
And choosing our paths
through the chaos

Some like just blue or red or yellow
I love all rainbows alike

The gold of one grandchild
the green of another
The pink of my bonus
who’s my own child

The turquoise
of Turkey who’s called
by another name now

I just love em all

I dance, dance, dance
until the concrete becomes
as velvet as my super-short hair
growing back from having
disappeared

I just love my hair

Every one of them

I dance, dance, dance
in whirls of loud laughter
and whispers of fear
in drumbeats of anger
and silence of grief

Silence is not a lack of sound

It is a full spectrum

We just don’t hear it all
