Readdle apps get amazing iOS 11 updates

iOS 11 is now live, and all of Readdle’s apps support its best features since the very first minute.

iOS 11 boasts a host of new features and interface changes including a Dock for iPad, redesigned Control Center, Files app, Drag and Drop, the new AppStore, ARKit and much more. With iOS 11, iPhone and iPads will become the most powerful and intelligent devices they’ve ever been.

We’re happy to share the amazing updates Readdle apps get to match the excellence of the Apple’s new operating system.

Say, you want to compose an email with images, links and some text (all from different sources). Drag and Drop to the rescue! Drag the necessary links and text from Safari, a couple of images from Photos and you’re good to go! This allows you to create emails much faster, composing it from several sources in an elegant manner.

Drag and Drop works with files and attachments — export them to any app by just dragging them to it. For instance, drag PDF attachments from Spark to edit, sign, and then drag back to send.

Easily drag text from an email and drop it into Notes or any other app to save them for later reference.

You received a PDF file you need to look through, make some edits, sign and send back. Now you can just drag and drop it from your email into PDF Expert, get your job done with powerful editing and annotation tools and send it back. How cool is that?

Making PDFs from the scratch or adding new content is a hard thing to do, especially on the go. With this update supporting iOS 11 Drag and Drop, you can drop text extracts, links for reference and images right your from browser, photos etc.

Now you can create a presentation, a new document template or give feedback to your colleagues project in the most intuitive way.

Merging is easy when all of your documents are within one app. Normally, you’d have a hard time merging PDFs from different sources.

Now, you can simply drag a PDF from Safari to merge it with your report, or add an email attachment with some feedback from your professor to the thesis. Easy!

Faster import files to Documents from Safari, email or any other application. Just Drag a zip archive with files you received from your colleagues via email, unzip it in a tap and work with the contents. Voila!

Save images and text from Safari by dragging and dropping them directly into Documents to create a new file. The possible scenarios are endless, you name them!

Now you can drag a photo of a document from a browser, email, or your Photo Gallery to scan it and store in Scanner Pro. Documents belong in professional apps, no need to mix pictures of your work-related documents with the photos from vacation in Paris :)

After scanning a document you can drag it into an email or store it in any other app. Scan and send in just one slide of your finger.

Furthermore, the update brings a new, strong integration between PDF Expert and Scanner Pro. Scanning is now possible straight in PDF Expert, with just one click.

The new iOS proves that the concepts we’ve been pioneering for the past 10 years are absolutely right, and this iOS has all the chances to replace a laptop or PC for the daily needs of any professional.
