How to install Ubuntu on Mac using VirtualBox

For installing Linux Ubuntu on Mac you need to perform three steps:

If you already have VirtualBox installed on your OS X you can skip to Step-2.

Installing Virtual Machine VirtualBox on Mac OS is pretty easy. I have mentioned all the required steps that you can follow to easily install VM Virtualbox.

2- Double click VirtualBox package icon.

3- Install Oracle VM VirtualBox by clicking on the continue button. This also enables you to select or change the destination location for installing Oracle VM VirtualBox on your Mac OS.

4- If an installation is successful, you will see the following message on your screen.

Once the installation is completed, You can start the VM VirtualBox under Applications in the Finder Window.

After installing VirtualBox we can move towards installing Ubuntu in VM VirtualBox.
