8 Top Online Business Tools to Try

Whether you have a new online business or have worked online for a while, having the right tools can always help. I’ve had an online business for a few years, and I’ve learned about some of the best tools out there.

Luckily, a lot of the tools I’ve found are free. That’s especially nice when you’re starting out and don’t have clients or consistent sales.

Now, I know that not everyone is going to work the same way I do. So with each business tool, I’m sharing some alternatives.

Without further ado, here are a few of the top online business tools.

If you’re looking for a good project management tool, you should check out Trello. The tool is very visual, and you create boards with lists and cards. I used different Trello boards to track my client work and my own projects.

You can pay for more features, but the free plan has worked for me so far. It’s a great option if you’re a solo entrepreneur or if you have a small team. You can use the tool to collaborate with people and tag others when they need to do something.

Alternatives: Asana, ClickUp, Monday, etc.

If you ever need to design a graphic, you should use Canva. It’s easy to use, and you can create anything from a blog graphic to a logo. Of course, you may want to hire a designer to create certain images.

But if you need to create something quickly, Canva is the way to go. You can use it in your browser or the mobile app. Personally, I prefer to use the browser because it’s easier to control the size of the elements I want to use.

Alternatives: Photoshop, PicMonkey

As a Mac user, the best video editor for me is iMovie. While I don’t create videos a ton, I do need to create them occasionally. It’s nice to be able to add my media, put everything together, and expert a video or an audio file.
